Nicolas Quezada is the brother of Juan Quezada, who is the originator of the Mata Oriz pottery movement. This makes Nicolas one of the original and more influential potters from this village in Mexico. This pot measures about 3.5" tall x 5.75" wide with about a 4" wide opening at the top. The ring shown is included. You will find Nicolas Quezada's work in galleries. His work is not part of the current day souvenir pots available, which can be purchased for much less. This is truly a work of art from one of the original Mata Ortiz potters. This item will be very well packaged for shipping and shipped insured. Free local pick up in the Southern Arizona area. Please feel free to message with questions. This is a very unique piece for those who collect pottery.
