Rice & Co.The blue-hatted lady features a highly collectible picture hat designed with rare, die-cut circular ventilation holes meant for holding individual flower stems. She still retains her original, highly coveted blue scalloped foil label on the base reading: \"An Irice Import - Irving W. Rice & Co. Inc. N.Y.C. - Made in Japan.\"
Both figurines display stunning classic glamour details, including delicate hand-painted facial features, molded long eyelashes (on the blue hat lady) , bright red lips, and beautiful painted gold accents along their hats, necklines, and jewelry.
Condition:
Excellent vintage condition! Both pieces are completely free of structural chips, cracks, breaks, or repairs. There is light, age-appropriate crazing in the glossy glaze surface, which is completely standard for ceramic pieces of this era and only adds to their authentic vintage character.
