Thank you for viewing this item.
This listing is for a complete set of seven Japanese Shichifukujin (Seven Lucky Gods) ceramic Dorei bells.
Each figure represents one of Japan’s traditional Seven Lucky Gods and features a different facial expression, costume and symbolic item.
These are not simply decorative ceramic figures. Each figure is made as a traditional Japanese Dorei-style bell.
A small ceramic piece is enclosed inside each figure, producing a gentle rattling / ringing sound when the figure is shaken.
Each figure also has a purple hanging cord attached to the top.
The warm brown, ochre and natural clay-colored finish gives the figures an attractive traditional Japanese folk-art appearance.
This is a charming collectible set for enthusiasts of Japanese folk art, Dorei clay bells, Shichifukujin, traditional pottery and Japanese lucky charms.
