Vintage pair of Italian brass fighting rooster figurines, sold together. Each is beautifully modeled with expressive poses, deeply textured feathers, and a dramatic curled tail. At approximately 12 inches long, they have enough presence to make a wonderful statement on a mantel, bookshelf, dining-room sideboard, or in a country, traditional, or Italian-inspired interior.
The pair retains a richly aged brass surface with darkened areas, warm gold tones, and greenish verdigris/patina that adds to their vintage character. They are unpolished and offered in their current, found condition.
