Crafted during the height of the mid-20th-century Israeli artisan metalwork movement (circa 1950s–1970s), this piece features striking hand-tooled details and exceptional visual character.Design Details:
• Central Inscription: The palm features an engraved three-letter Hebrew inscription: ש-ד-י (Shaddai). This sacred name translates traditionally in folk protection as the acronym "Shomer Daltot Yisrael" ("Guardian of the Doors of Israel"), making it a powerful traditional home blessing.
• Artisan Craftsmanship: Displays beautiful geometric cutouts on the thumbs, stamped circular motifs on the outer fingers, and a hand-soldered brass ring on the reverse side for secure wall hanging.
• Patina: The piece boasts an authentic, uncleaned vintage copper patina with deep dark oxidation juxtaposed against warm, bright copper highlights. (We have left the original patina untouched, as preferred by collectors).Condition:
