The Dublin vignette shows O\'Connell Street with the tall commemorative column that once stood at its center, and the round tower rises above the trees in the Glendalough scene — small details that place the artwork in the mid-century era of Irish tourist china. Soft airbrushed blue and yellow clouds fill the background between the panels, and the wide white border is finished with a gilt band at the rim.
The reverse carries a hand-lettered underglaze mark in red, written in Gaelic script: \"Déanta san tSeapáin\" — Irish for \"Made in Japan.\" Pieces like this were produced in Japan for the Irish tourist trade and sold in shops around Dublin, Killarney, and Galway from the 1950s through the 1960s.
