This is a beautiful Canadian Inuit Eskimo Native hand carved figure of a man in a kneeling position. He may be a hunter or dancer. It looks like he could be throwing a spear, but there is no hole to hold one. I am unable to identify the artist as there do not appear to be any markings on the bottom. It measures approximately 4 1/2" wide by 9" long by 3 1/4" tall and 2 1/2" deep.It was brought back from Canada by a relative approximately 40 years ago and has been kept in a smoke free home.
