Unique vintage handmade metal ashtray featuring a bold horseshoe-inspired base and colorful abstract finish.

The piece is constructed from metal with a shallow round 4\" diameter tray elevated above curved horseshoe-form supports. Three raised rests around the rim accommodate cigarettes and add to the sculptural, almost Brutalist studio-art appearance.

The surface is especially striking, with an expressive mottled finish in shades of red, orange, pink, purple, black, copper and gold. The underside has its own warm reddish and copper-toned coloration, giving the entire piece a very handcrafted look.

A great decorative piece for a bar, den, Western collection, eclectic interior, or vintage smoking collection. It could also be displayed simply as a small piece of folk or studio metal art.
