Vintage hand-carved and hand-painted wooden owl figurine with wonderful rustic folk-art character. This approximately 8-inch-tall owl features oversized blue eyes with red centers, carved and incised feather details, and a distressed painted finish in cream, black, yellow, blue and muted red tones. The carving and intentionally aged-looking finish give it a great primitive, boho and folk-art appearance. The owl is unmarked on the bottom, so the maker, exact age and country of origin are unknown.Approximate measurements:
• Height: 8”
• Please see photos for proportions and additional details.Condition:
Pre-owned vintage condition with surface wear, paint loss, scratches, discoloration and other signs of age/use. Much of the worn appearance complements the rustic design. Bottom shows wear/dust from display and storage.
