For sale is a gorgeous, rare 5-piece vintage serving set from The Hall China Company’s iconic "Golden Glo" line.What makes this specific set highly collectible is its unique provenance. These pieces are authentic mid-century commercial restaurant ware custom-stamped for The Georgetown Inn, a historic luxury hotel and landmark establishment in Washington, D.C.Each piece features Hall's famous ovenproof ceramic body covered in a brilliant, highly reflective 22-carat gold glaze that creates a stunning mirror-like finish. The interiors are solid glazed white.
1.) 3-Section Clover Relish Tray (Left): is a beautifully designed, trifold divided condiment or relish dish. It features a bright white glazed interior partitioned into three distinct circular wells, perfectly framed by a thick, brilliant 22-carat gold lustre rim. The sculpted point on the left acts as a stylized handle.2.) Rectangular Sugar Packet/Cigarette Holder (Top Left): This square, open-top trough is glazed entirely in solid 22k gold on both the interior and exterior, save for the bottom foot. Originally standard in mid-century diners and upscale hotels, these were used to hold sugar packets, matches, or individual cigarettes at the table.3.) Medium Milk / Water Pitcher: Features a high curved handle and elegant pouring spout. Stands just over 4" tall. Features the double-ring "HALL Made in USA" logo and reverse-printed "The Georgetown Inn" stamp on the bottom.4.) Miniature Individual Creamer: A tiny, beautifully scaled individual jug standing roughly 2.5" tall. Features a clean, clear "Golden Glo / The Georgetown Inn" custom backstamp.5.)
