Authentic vintage Golden Rod pump oil can/oiler featuring a metal reservoir, lever-operated pump assembly, and long flexible metal spout.
The Golden Rod name is clearly visible on the top lever, making this a great identifiable piece of vintage American workshop equipment rather than an unmarked generic oiler.
The cylindrical metal reservoir measures approximately 5 inches tall based on the ruler photograph. A long flexible ribbed spout extends from the pump assembly and can be positioned to reach machinery and other difficult-to-access lubrication points.
The top assembly unscrews from the reservoir and includes the pump mechanism, spring, pickup tube, and other internal components shown in the photographs.
This example has plenty of authentic age and workshop character, including scratches, oxidation, finish wear, discoloration, staining, and patina throughout. It would make a great addition to a collection of vintage automotive tools, farm equipment, machinist tools, service-station memorabilia, or industrial décor.

Humorous Description
Long before somebody invented a spray can for everything, the Golden Rod was standing by with one simple mission:
Find the squeak. Oil the squeak. Get back to work.
With its flexible spout, lever pump, and well-earned workshop patina, this little veteran looks like it has probably lubricated more machinery than most of us will ever own.
Its retirement plan? A collector’s shelf, vintage garage display, or perhaps another workshop—assuming its new boss doesn’t mind giving an old tool a little TLC.
