Add historical whimsy to your holiday table with this vintage lot of three hand-painted wooden egg cups. Expertly crafted in the traditional Erzgebirge folk art style by VEB Holzwaren Gahlenz, these mid-century collectibles were handmade in the German Democratic Republic (East Germany). The festive set includes a white Easter bunny rabbit alongside two distinct roosters accompanied by integrated cobalt blue, red, and light blue egg-holding basins. Perfect for seasonal spring displays or as hard-to-find additions to an antique kitchenware collection, these pieces retain their iconic mid-century character. This lot is in fair to good vintage condition with an intact original paper manufacturer label on the base, though the figures show noticeable paint chipping, light scuffs, and edge wear from age. See photos for accurate depiction of condition.
