A full Dutch wrestling club team postcard, two rows strong, everyone in singlets and game faces on, flanked by coaches and officials in suits — and unlike almost every other vintage sports postcard out there, every single person in it is named. The back lists the entire roster in Dutch: kneeling front row (J. Augustinus jr., R. v. \'t Hout, L. Schneider, M. Kleyn, A. Goedhart, R. Jouvenaar, H. v.d. Stoep jr., plus R. Valkenburgh who wasn\'t in the shot) and the standing row behind them, complete with coach and trainer credits (P. v. Slingerland sr. as coach, G. Jouvenaar as trainer, J. Augustinus sr. as team leader, H. v.d. Stoep sr. as coach).
That\'s an unusually complete record for a team postcard like this — genealogy researchers, Dutch sports historians, and wrestling memorabilia collectors all have real reasons to want a card like this. The water spotting at the top is honest wear, not damage that obscures anything important; the roster and the team itself remain perfectly clear.
Pairs nicely with the AAU Wrestling Cultural Exchange postcards if you\'re building a themed wrestling memorabilia lot — international wrestling ephemera from the same era tends to get grouped by serious collectors.
