This one steps things up a level — not a club team, the actual Dutch National Wrestling Team. Six wrestlers and staff posed in matching tracksuits, English-language captioning on the back (so this was clearly meant for international circulation, likely handed out at a competition or exchange event), and every name comes with a weight class attached: Hans van Dijk at 73kg, Werner de Vink at 53kg, Ronald Panbakker at 48kg, Paul Kastelein at 51kg, plus coach Tom Panbakker and official Ronny Kastelein. Frans Leurs gets a mention too, even though he\'s not in the shot.
This is exactly the kind of card that serious wrestling memorabilia collectors go looking for — a national team, fully named, with weight classes, from an era when this kind of amateur wrestling ephemera rarely survives in this much detail. The foxing on the back is minor and doesn\'t touch the printed text or the front image.
The obvious anchor piece for a wrestling memorabilia lot alongside the AAU Cultural Exchange cards and the Dutch club team postcard — national team + club team + cultural exchange thank-yous tells a genuinely interesting little story about international amateur wrestling in this era.Fast Shipping
