Vintage Dutch Couple Kissing Cast Iron Doorstop Hand Painted 8.5 In 5 Lb
Condition: Used
Description:
Charming heavy cast iron Dutch couple figure featuring a boy and girl in traditional folk style clothing sharing a kiss. Hand painted in black, white, pink, and green with a raised grassy base and a great old world storybook look.
This piece has more presence than many similar Dutch themed listings because of its substantial weight, figural detail, and display friendly size. Works well as a decorative doorstop, shelf accent, bookcase piece, farmhouse decor, folk art display, or Dutch / Holland themed collectible.
Measures approximately 8.5” tall and weighs a tad over 5 lbs.
Preowned condition with normal vintage wear, including paint rubs, small chips, scuffs, dust/soil in crevices, casting texture, and finish wear throughout. Displays nicely with strong color and character. Please review photos for exact condition.
