Vintage Country Maid Brand Pasteurized Creamery Butter advertising price sign, manufactured for DeGraff Creamery of De Graff, Ohio. This is a great piece of old grocery / country store advertising featuring bold black, yellow, red and white graphics with an illustrated Country Maid butter package. The center of the sign was designed so a store could display the day’s current prices for butter and eggs using interchangeable number cards. The reverse still retains a selection of the original-style number inserts, which can be moved into the front display windows. The sign also has its metal hanging grommet at the top.Front reads:
“Buy Country Maid Brand Pasteurized Creamery Butter”
“Today’s Prices — Butter — Eggs”
“This Package is your Assurance of Good Butter”Condition:
Vintage pre-owned condition with age-related wear consistent with an original advertising display. There is some edge and corner wear, light surface scratching/marks, small creases, and wear around the upper hanging area. There are also visible crease lines in a few areas of the board. Graphics remain extremely bright and attractive with excellent display appeal. Please examine all photographs closely, as they are part of the condition description.Important: The number cards/inserts included are exactly those shown in the photographs. I have not verified that every possible number originally supplied with the sign is present.A fantastic display piece for a collector of country store advertising, dairy advertising, butter/creamery memorabilia, general store displays, grocery advertising, or vintage Americana.Sold as shown. Please review all photos carefully before purchasing.Displays beautifully.
