Striking vintage Chinese silver-plated decorative box featuring exceptionally detailed raised repoussé-style designs throughout.
The shaped lid is decorated with dragon and phoenix imagery surrounding a traditional Chinese longevity symbol, while the sides feature beautiful raised birds, flowers, foliage and ornate scrolling borders. The recessed areas have developed a darker patina that really highlights the intricate relief work.
The interior is lined in a light-colored fabric, making this a beautiful piece for use as a jewelry box, trinket box, keepsake box or display piece.
