Vintage Chinese Inside-Painted Glass Snuff Bottle - Tigers & Leopard Landscape, Signed Wang Zuo (王作), 3\"
This is a beautiful vintage Chinese inside-painted (reverse-painted) glass snuff bottle featuring exceptionally detailed wildlife artwork.
•Front Design: Powerful scene of two tigers—one snarling on a rocky overlook next to a reclining companion, set against vibrant orange-red foliage and a rushing waterfall background.
•Reverse Design: Features a highly detailed, spotted leopard stealthily navigating a rocky mountain ledge, continuing the landscape scene seamlessly from the front.
•Artist Signature / Mark: Both sides are individually hand-inscribed with the characters \"王作\" (Wang Zuo - \"Made by Wang\")accompanied by a red painted artist seal replica. This represents fine craftsmanship from the modern Hebei (\"Ji\" style) inside-painting tradition.
•Dimensions: Stands approximately 3 inches (7.6 cm) tall including the stopper.
•Features: Authentic frosted interior walls acting as the canvas. Complete with a dark, domed composite stopper mimicking old horn/tortoiseshell and its original sealing cork.
Condition Details:
Outstanding physical condition. The interior paint colors remain remarkably vibrant and crisp with zero fading or water damage. Glass body is clean without cracks. Please look closely at all uploaded photos to evaluate the mouth, base, and overall craftsmanship.
