The primary scene is surrounded by heavy, stylized pink peonies, multi-colored chrysanthemums, and a delicate turquoise-glazed rim.
The lower base features a vibrant, stylized false gadroon geometric border. This piece is beautifully executed in the classic Fencai / Yangcai tradition using thick, opaque pastel overglaze enamels that offer a wonderful dimensional texture.
Condition & Authentication
• Base: Smooth, unglazed recessed foot ring, completely unmarked. This characteristic is consistent with mid-to-late 20th-century Chinese export wares crafted for decorative display.
• Condition: Excellent vintage condition. The glaze remains bright and lustrous with no cracks, chips, structural repairs, or major enamel flaking.
