Vintage Asian-style dragon glazed ceramic decorative vessel featuring a highly detailed sculpted dragon wrapped around an open bowl.
The piece has a deep reddish-brown glossy glaze with darker accents that highlight the dragon’s scales, face, claws and other intricate details. It is a substantial, heavy piece measuring approximately 7 inches long × 5 inches tall.
The open vessel may have been designed as a brush washer, decorative bowl/catchall, or similar decorative piece. Exact original purpose and maker are unknown.
There is no maker’s mark that I can identify on the bottom. There appears to be residue from a previous label.
Condition: Pre-owned vintage condition with visible age/use-related wear, including areas of glaze/finish loss and surface wear. Please examine all photos closely as they are part of the 7\" long × 5\" tall
Material: Glazed ceramic/stoneware
Beautiful display piece for collectors of dragons, Asian-inspired décor, Chinese-style ceramics, or unusual vintage decorative pieces.
