Up for sale is an adorable complete three-piece set of vintage ceramic mermaid wall plaques, originally cast from Arnel's molds and hand-painted in 1979.
This iconic retro trio features three different poses of sweet mermaids with ponytails riding yellow fish. It is the perfect kitschy addition to a Mid-Century Modern bathroom, tiki bar, or nursery!

Condition Report:
Excellent vintage condition.
There are absolutely no chips, no cracks, and no crazing to the delicate clay edges, ponytails, or fins.
Paint Finish: These plaques were hand-painted using the classic 1970s "cold-paint" method (matte acrylic hobby paint rather than a glossy kiln glaze). The paint finish is a flat matte, not glossy. Because of this, it is entirely free of glaze crazing. The paint shows minor, authentic vintage surface scuffs/texture variations consistent with age (please see close-up photos for exact details). Photos were taken indoors and out…the last two were outdoors.
