This Vintage 1950s Halloween Paper Mache Pulp Choir Boy JOL Lantern is a fun and unique collectible piece perfect for Halloween decor. The lantern features a classic pumpkin pattern that look like he got his finger caught in an electric outlet, has the chicken pox, or was caught in a nuclear accident, or the aliens got to him - YIKES! With a vibrant GLOWING orange skin color that was obviously repainted by a kid sometime in his past made it more special for me. I added my own repro face that I made up to make the surprised expression stand out more. He was Handmade in the United States, this lantern stands at 5.5 inches tall and is sure to add a nostalgic touch to your Halloween celebrations if not an alternative one?. Condition wise he is not too bad: the paint was redone, he does have scrapes, bumps and bruises under the repaint. (SEE PICS). He was a top battery operated light version (the lip at the top edge) from the 50s which is long gone.
