This fantastic authentic western American cowboy rodeo trophy belt buckle from 1997 was awarded to a champion team roper at one of several possible events. There were many local and regional rodeos that partnered with the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and charitable foundation during that year. A few of them were the George Strait Team Roping Classic, Saddle up for St. Jude, and the St. Jude Benefit Roping, all held throughout America’s southern states. This buckle was from one of those rodeos. The condition is good true vintage showing minor signs of use and minor tarnish on a few areas. It can easily be cleaned and polished to look newer if you’d like. The buckle measures 4 /4” x 3 1/4”, fis belts up to 1 1/2” wide and weighs about 5 to 6 ounces. Shipping will be USPS ground advantage package, insured.
