Beautiful vintage Sandicast Yellow Labrador Retriever sculpture, model #382, dating to 1991.
This realistic Labrador sculpture was created by Sandra Brue for Sandicast and features the highly detailed textured fur and lifelike glass eyes that Sandicast pieces are known for.
The original Sandicast identification label remains attached to the underside and identifies the piece as “Labrador, Yellow”. The underside is also marked with the 1991 S. Brue copyright/signature.
Approximate dimensions:
• 11" long
• Approximately 6" wide
• Approximately 7" high
Condition:
Very nice vintage pre-owned condition overall. The sculpture displays beautifully from the front and has excellent detail and attractive original coloration.
Please note: There is a small chip on the back of the Labrador's left ear. It is located on the rear side of the ear and is not noticeable when the sculpture is viewed from the front. I did not notice the chip until photographing the piece in detail. A close-up photograph has been included so the condition is completely clear.
There may also be minor signs of age/wear consistent with a vintage hand-cast and hand-painted sculpture. Please examine all photographs carefully, as the photos are an important part of the description.
A wonderful vintage piece for a Labrador Retriever collector, Sandicast collector, dog lover, or animal-themed display.
You will receive the exact sculpture shown in the photographs.
