Vintage Metropolitan Museum of Art Etruscan Soldiers Statuette – 1989Striking vintage museum reproduction depicting a pair of stylized Etruscan warriors or soldiers in a striding pose, each wearing an exaggerated crested helmet.Originally acquired from the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York in 1989The elongated bodies, dramatically curved helmets, simplified facial features, and dark patinated finish give the sculpture a distinctly ancient and modernist appearance. Both figures are permanently mounted together on a substantial rectangular base, making it an especially attractive display piece.Vintage museum reproductions from this period are increasingly difficult to find, particularly examples with documented Metropolitan Museum of Art acquisition history.Details* Subject: Pair of Etruscan warriors / soldiers
