Vintage 1987 Michelob Classic Dark crystal lamp wall sconce, original Anheuser-Busch bar display. Item No. 311-060, made for Anheuser-Busch, Inc., St. Louis, MO, by D&S Merch. Displays, Inc., P.O. Box 8192, Bartlett, IL. Factory label is dated February 19, 1987. UL listed indoor electric sign, Form 1, No. AG 514486. Union Made sticker from Highlight, Inc.
This is a wall-mount lantern sconce with a brass-tone metal body and oval backplate, a clear acrylic “crystal” cage with frosted arched panels, a gold-tone reflector behind the bulb, and a curved front panel that lights up with the Michelob Classic Dark logo. When plugged in, the candle-style bulb glows inside the cage and the logo panel is backlit. On/off is a pull chain under the base.
Tested and working. Both the candle bulb and the logo panel light as shown in the photos. Original factory relamp label is still on the back:
1. Remove bottom cap, turn counterclockwise
2. Replace lamp — 10C7 clear (10 watts maximum)
3. Replace bottom cap Rated 115–125 V, 60 Hz
Condition is used, with normal age on a nearly 40-year-old bar piece. Brass-tone finish is bright with light wear from handling. Plastic crystal panels are intact and clear. Logo lettering is clean and lights evenly. Please review all photos for exact condition. Cord length and mounting hardware are not fully shown; message with questions before buying.
Great man-cave, home-bar, or breweriana piece. Harder to find complete and working than flat Michelob signs.
