Here is a vintage used 1986 presentation Jaeger-le Coultre " Atmos " mantle clock model 540 given to a worker at Union Caroffere Corp. for 25 years service. It is a gold plated brass clock with glass on all sides and top. The plating appears in very good shape but for minor light small scratches and general minor wear and the glass is all intact. It will need to be lightly polished from handling and fingerprints removed from glass, etc. It is otherwise in very good shape with no noted damage or repairs. The serial number on top is 613559. The clock is running. I let it run for 4 days. It gained a minute over the 4 days but was otherwise accurate. It will need some fine tuning. It does not come with any original paperwork or box but instructions are easily found on the net. The Atmos clock never needs winding as it runs on differences in atmospheric pressure. It measures approx. 7 1/2 inches wide at base, about 6 inches deep at base and stands about 9 inches tall. A real beauty. It is quite heavy and will be shipped with much care, fully insured and lots of protection. Please see ALL enlarged photos for best idea of condition of the item as these are a part of the description.
