Beautiful vintage handmade ceramic Nativity set created by the Sisters of the Incarnate Word in Parma Heights, Ohio, circa 1986.
This set was purchased directly from the Sisters at their annual ceramic sale/fair at the Incarnate Word convent in Parma Heights. The Sisters have had their community in Parma Heights since 1930 and have a long history associated with Incarnate Word Academy.
The set features cream/ivory glazed ceramic figures displayed inside a handmade rustic wooden stable. Included are the ceramic figures shown in the photographs, Jesus in manger
