Listing Description Beautiful Vintage Franklin Mint Bisque Porcelain Bird Figurine Lot (Set of 2)
Up for sale is a gorgeous set of two vintage fine porcelain bird figurines designed by the renowned wildlife artist Peter Barrett for The Franklin Mint in the mid-1980s. Both pieces feature incredibly detailed, hand-painted baby birds in natural settings on matte bisque porcelain.
Included in This Lot:
- \"Conversation\" (1985): Features a sweet trio of three fledgling Black-Capped Chickadees huddled together on a mossy base accented with small white blossoms.
Dimensions: Approx. 4.5\" W x 3.5\" H - \"First Flight\" (1986): Features three vibrant Eurasian Blue Tits perched on a branch, with one fledgling dynamically spreading its wings preparing to take off.
Dimensions: Approx. 4.75\" W x 4\" H
