Vintage Size Large U.S. Military Chemical Protective 2-Piece Suit Set. Manufactured by Gibraltar Industries, Inc. under contract DLA100-79-C-3209, this set is officially stamped and dated October 1980.
Design Highlights:
- Jacket/Coat: Snap-and-zipper front closure, elastic wrist cuffs, bottom drawstring adjustment, and dual angled flap chest pockets. 27" from top to bottom. 24" chest, and 18.5" long sleeves.
- Trousers: High-set upper thigh cargo flap pockets, adjustable side waist pull-straps with metal hardware, and full-length side leg zippers for easy boot entry. Pants are 42" long, and 24" wide laid flat. (Waist is fully adjustable via side straps)
- Material: Heavyweight Olive Green outer shell with a classic charcoal-absorbent inner lining.
Condition Disclosure:
In exceptionally clean, crisp vintage condition. Inner contract tags are perfectly intact and legible. As with all genuine vintage charcoal-lined NBC gear, a fine dark powder residue occurs when handled—this is completely normal for this era of production.
