Nearly five decades old, this is a genuine vintage Case XX 6265 SAB SS Folding Hunter, dating to 1978 by its distinctive two-dot CASE XX tang stamp.
The 6265 is one of Case's classic large two-blade Folding Hunter patterns, built as a substantial working knife with two full-size hunting blades, handsome brown jigged wood handles, nickel-silver bolsters and brass liners.

This knife has been carefully cleaned and preserved, not restored. No attempt has been made to erase its history through aggressive buffing, refinishing or restoration.
Both blades show honest evidence of age and use, including surface scratches and previous sharpening. The jigged wood handles present beautifully and retain wonderful vintage character. The bolsters and metal surfaces show normal wear consistent with a knife that has survived for nearly 50 years.
The included vintage Case leather sheath has been gently cleaned and conditioned and shows age-related wear appropriate to a vintage piece. The sheath is included as shown; no claim is made that it was originally factory-paired with this exact knife.
