Striking vintage Mexican wall plaque depicting the profile of a Maya ruler or ceremonial figure.
The colorful dimensional metal/enamel design is mounted on a black wooden backing and is signed “Raul 1973” on the front.
An old handwritten label on the reverse appears to identify the subject as a Cabeza de Rey Maya / Palenque design.
The reverse also carries an original Mexican maker's metal medallion.
Rich colors include orange, gold, turquoise, blue, white, purple, and green.
Condition is vintage pre-owned with normal age-related wear, scratches, scuffs, and surface marks to the wooden backing. Decorative metal/enamel design remains visually striking.
