ORIGINAL - Vintage 1970s Sex Pistols John Lydon/Lone Star Beer Print
This is an authentic vintage print ad removed from a 1970s publication. It is not a reproduction, reprint, or digital copy.
About the ad
This vintage 1970s magazine advertisement captures John Lydon — better known as Johnny Rotten of the Sex Pistols — clutching a Lone Star beer can in full punk regalia, plaid jacket, safety pin, and graphic tee, staring down the lens with characteristic contempt. Shot at the peak of the British punk explosion circa 1977, this collectible ad represents one of the most provocative celebrity brand intersections of the decade. The juxtaposition of mainstream lager marketing with punk's most iconic figurehead makes this original print ad a rare crossover artifact for both music memorabilia collectors and vintage advertisement enthusiasts
