Up for sale is a fantastic piece of retro barware: a vintage 1970s equestrian-themed ice bucket. Perfect for an MCM bar cart, man cave, or horse racing enthusiast, this piece features a classic saddle-tack style design wrapped in rich brown faux leather with a black buckled belt accent and silver-tone rivets. The lid is crowned with a striking silver-tone sculpted horse head handle/finial.
Condition Details:
Interior: The white insulated plastic liner is exceptionally clean, bright, and free of typical yellowing or heavy staining.
Exterior Wrap: The vinyl body wrap is tight, vibrant, and in excellent shape.Lid Flaw: There is a minor, typical vintage lifting of the faux leather edge on the top lid where the factory glue has dried out over time (visible in the close-up photos). It is purely cosmetic and an easy fix with a dab of contact cement.
Hardware & Base: The polished metal base shows light surface scuffing/scratching from gentle use over the decades. The horse finial has minimal, very faint vintage pitting at the absolute base.
Accessories: Please note the original side-hanging ice tongs are not included.
Belt Detail: The decorative black cartridge belt wrap is missing 1 of its 5 faux accent bullets (4 are remaining and intact).
