Outstanding original vintage U.S. Navy officer\'s bridge coat manufactured by Emerson Clothing Corporation under Defense Supply Agency contract DSA-100-68-C-2818, dating the coat to 1968 during the Vietnam War era.
Constructed from substantial 100% wool, this is the long officer-style Navy bridge coat rather than the shorter enlisted peacoat. It features a classic double-breasted front with original gold-tone eagle-and-anchor Navy buttons, wide notched lapels, slanted hand pockets, full interior lining and a rear half-belt/martingale finished with matching gold-tone buttons.

Condition:
Excellent vintage condition. The wool exterior is beautifully preserved with no significant stains, holes, tears, moth damage or other notable flaws observed. Interior lining and hardware also present very well. An exceptionally clean surviving example for a coat dating to 1968.
