In 1968 a friend proudly showed me a plastic mastodon in his collection. I didn't know anything about the origin at that time nor did he but since then I spent a lifetime looking for one for my personal collection. This soft plastic figure was produced in Hong Kong by a company called YC (marked on belly), and is an exact replica in both size and sculpting of the SRG (Sell-Right Giftware) lead metal figure produced in the 1940s. Oddly enough this plastic variation is scarcer than the original metal figure. Measures 1 and 15/16th inches tall, overall in very fine condition with minor wear and no notable damage.
