Talk about vintage Christmas personality! This wonderfully kitschy mid-century Christmas centerpiece features an adorable—and slightly mischievous-looking—little Christmas pixie/elf nestled among oversized holly leaves, faux evergreen and red holiday foliage.
The pixie wears a bright red Santa-style outfit and has curly orange hair, enormous blue eyes and a fantastic vintage expression. A red-and-white striped candy cane rises from the arrangement, which sits in a square red velvet-covered base with a snowy textured top.
This piece is unmarked, so the maker and country of origin are unknown. Based on its materials, construction and styling, it is believed to date to approximately the 1950s–1960s era.
Measures approximately 5½\" wide and 6–6½\" tall at the widest/tallest points.
Good vintage condition with age-related wear. The candy cane shows noticeable paint loss/flaking, and the plastic greenery and other decorative elements show some surface wear, dust and aging from years of storage. The arrangement remains wonderfully colorful and displays beautifully. Please review all photos closely for condition.
