MEASUREMENTS- approximately 8 3/4” total diameter including the metal black grid accent cage. The height from the ceiling to the bottom of the milk glass globe is approximately 4 1/4”.
Fabulous blast from the past! Very atomic/retro all original VIRDEN mid century modern flush mounted ceiling light fixture. The fixture is made of 3 components, the mounting flat pan ceiling base, the thick white milk glass globe and a metal black grid cage that suspends on top of the shed when mounted for the wonderful black on white grid/geometric pattern.
The light is 100% original and works well. There are typical age related imperfections such as aged wires, some minor scrapes on the black metal grid as well as some slight bending/warping of the metal surround. There is some slight line imprints in the glass face from the glass making process when manufactured. The metal pan base has patina on the ceiling side and the silver reflective light bulb disk has some curling starting on the edges in areas, all imperfections are superficial for the most part. The wires have a few spots where the old outer wax coating is crackling but the interior vinyl coatings seem to be intact, any socket/wire upgrades would be to the new owners discretion.
