This collection includes 10 individual monthly blotters (January, March, April, May, June, July, August, September, October, November, and December; February is missing). Each card features a detailed, colorful illustration depicting a significant historical event in Boston, such as the first medical examination of school children, the first motor vehicle exhibition, and the first football team in the US. The bottom of each card includes a monthly calendar for 1948 and historical text explaining the scene above.
