Vintage 1940s–50s fireman’s parade / company‑use helmet made of early composite hard material, featuring bold hand‑painted red and gold lettering reading “M F C Co.” The paintwork is bright, stable, and visually strong, done in the classic traditional volunteer‑company style.
Lightweight construction with an interior suspension system indicates parade, ceremonial, or fraternal use, not line‑duty gear. A small metal hook has been added to the rear brim for wall display. The chin strap appears to be missing.
