Vintage 1940's Belmont Winking Lion Cookie Jar Ludowici Celadon, As Found. I picked this up in an antique store in the 1980's. Although whoever repainted it did somewhat of a sloppy job of it, the color scheme is quite close to the original, or one of the originals, except that the tail tip should be yellow and the blue gray should be more blue. There are no major chips or cracks. There is an impact chip on the nose and two on the chin which may be manufacturing defects. See photos. As-is. It's certainly in good enough condition to be repainted if desired. Smoke free home. Ships USPS Parcel Select Mail (most economical/ least expensive method), but if you prefer Priority Mail please message me BEFORE buying. Shipping can be combined with other items.
