Wonderful vintage pair of Armor Bronze Scottish Terrier / Scottie dog bookends, dated 1937.
Each bookend features a detailed standing Scottie dog with textured fur and an aged bronze-tone finish, mounted on a stepped rectangular base. The dogs face one another when displayed as a pair.
The underside retains green felt, and one bookend has the original Armor Bronze Co., Taunton, Mass. label. One piece is impressed with the © 1937 date.
A great collectible set for Scottie or Scottish Terrier lovers, vintage dog collectors, or anyone looking for authentic 1930s office, library or bookshelf décor.
