Up for sale is a fantastic piece of 1930s Great Depression-era history: a vintage McKee Glass Company Safety Razor Honeinside its original retail box. This is the highly sought-after Uranium Custard Glass variant. Under a standard UV / blacklight, the hone fluoresces a brilliant, vibrant neon green! It features the classic oatmeal/cream coloration and a smooth concave surface designed to realign and polish vintage double-edge razor blades.Condition Details:
- The Glass Hone: Very good condition. I do not see any chips, cracks, flea bites, or structural damage. The concave surface is incredibly clean and ready for display.
- The Original Box: Included as shown. The graphic cardboard box features great vintage typography, the original "20ยข" price mark, and wonderful shelf appeal. Please note that both end flaps are missing, so the box remains open on the sides. There is edge wear consistent with its age, but the main faces remain bright and completely legible. Someone has written on the back panel.
A wonderful addition to any Uranium/Vaseline glass collection, vintage shaving display, or Great Depression-era advertising collection. Please review all photos carefully as they form part of the description. No Hassle return policy. Ships within 3 business days of cleared payment by USPS W/DC in a box for protection. Satisfaction Guaranteed! Thanks for looking!
