Fantastic vintage novelty photograph featuring a real photographic portrait of a young man incorporated into a humorous illustrated romantic scene with a glamorous woman swooning in his arms.

Likely an amusement, carnival or arcade-style novelty photo dating approximately to the 1930s–1940s era.

Measures approximately 4" x 2.5".

Fun piece of vintage vernacular photography with wonderful character and kitschy romantic appeal. Blank back.

Shows expected age-related wear including scratches, surface marks, spots, edge/corner wear and toning. Please see photos for exact condition.

Estate find with a wonderful bit of oral history: according to the previous owner, the gentleman pictured was her mother's former boyfriend. Her mother reportedly kept this photograph tucked away in her jewelry box for years — unbeknownst to her husband!

So cute! Shipper Sunday2
