Vintage 1930s-1940s Camel Hair & Pure Wool Military-Style Blanket - Excellent Condition
Military-style utility blanket with a tan body, contrasting dark brown 4-stripe border, and satin-stitched binding on ends.
Size is approximately 57” x 69”.
Label: The blanket retains its original, vibrant woven label, featuring iconic period imagery of a desert scene with a camel, pyramids, and palm trees. The text clearly states the composition and that it is a "GUARANTEED CAMEL HAIR BLANKET.”
No major signs of wear. One small hole near the stripes shown in photo. . I have shown the blanket from the reverse with the sun shining so you can see there are a few thin spots. One very small section of the edge was a bit rough. I am really trying to point out everything small thing. This blanket is really in great condition for its age.
