Original Vietnam War era U.S. military short magazine pouch pair, dated 1968.

These short-pattern canvas pouches were issued for a relatively limited period and are much less commonly encountered today than later Vietnam-era ammunition pouches.

Each pouch is designed to hold four 20-round rifle magazines.

Both pouches have been stored unused for many years and remain in very good condition overall.

Light fading from age and storage

Minor wear and rubbing around some corners and edges

Some paint loss and light verdigris on the metal hardware

Original straps, clips, and attachment hardware are present

No major tears or significant damage

The black “US” markings remain visible on the fronts.
