Here we have a very rare Black and Gold trim color scheme on an Atlas Sewing machine. I have not seen another Atlas with this color scheme and it's quite beautiful. The motor is marked April of 1958 and the machine itself is marked "Made In Occupied Japan" with the serial number "B494961." The light works, and pedal works great. The motor turns and the needle works good, however it may need a new belt to operate properly. The machine itself DOES INDEED RUN! The paint is strong, but is scuffed/scratched in the pictured areas. The case is still sturdy, and is missing paint chips and has typical wear that you would expect on a case this old.
