Vaillancourt Folk Art 1989 Santa With Bag of Apples Autumn Fall #703 Signed
Handcrafted Vaillancourt Folk Art Santa from 1989 depicting Father Christmas carrying a woven shoulder bag filled with apples and wearing mittens. This early chalkware-style figure features the warm folk art painting and crackled finish that made Vaillancourt collectibles so popular. Hand signed and dated on the base, numbered #703, and made in Sutton, Massachusetts.
A wonderful early Vaillancourt harvest-themed Santa that displays beautifully for Christmas or autumn décor.
Condition
Good vintage condition with typical age-related crazing to the painted finish. The decorative twig that originally extended from Santa’s hand is missing, leaving the small mounting hole visible. Otherwise displays very well with no chips or cracks noted. Please review all photos carefully.
