This 10 inch wide Sheaffer White Dot Striated Brown Desk Fountain Pen Set is made in the United States. The pens are nib style with black shaft and 14K gold plating. The pens are made of celluloid and comes with an onyx stone base. The original vintage mid century modern manufacturer is W. A. Sheaffer Pen Company out of Fort Madison, Iowa item 5503S. This set is MCM and is Art Deco style designed for an executive desk. The onyx stone was custom cut and polished by a professional lapidarist and has a nice banded earthy appearance that projects sophistication, elegance, and class. The swivel bases to the pens rotates smoothly but may require tightening by the buyer to the desired resistance. This vintage signed Sheaffer two fountain desk pen set with beautiful marbled earthy natural onyx stone is in excellent condition with beautiful 14k gold plating to provide a high end appearance, no breakage issues. The fountain pens could use a cleaning and recharge with ink.
