Very rare vintage Helen Webber Litho-Graphics beach towel, dating to the late 1970s–1980s, featuring five stylized women in elaborate hats in Webber’s distinctive bold, colorful style.
Helen Webber was an American artist and textile designer who began creating large-scale public artworks in the 1970s and became especially known for her fabric collage tapestries. Her work also extended into commercial design, including towels, bedding, fabrics, wallpaper, book and record covers, and she co-founded Women in Design International.
Marked © Helen Webber within the design and retains its original Litho-Graphics label. 100% cotton, made in Korea.
Measures approximately 55” x 33.5”.
